As the first-ever professional community of DI, the DICollective centers the needs of Disease Interventionists, and amplifies the critical work of DI through storytelling, and career support. DICo is for DI, and led entirely by DI.
DICollective disrupts the status quo of the existing state of affairs of sexual health, communicable disease prevention, and public health in this nation and focuses on underrepresented groups, particularly in sexual health. Through our work, we aim to elevate the DI role and carve career pathways for public health professionals with DI experience.
We facilitate conversations that encourage sexual health and other public health professionals to critically assess how we provide care and how we can improve equity in our service delivery.
DICo stands to emphasize the pivotal role we play in ensuring the health of our communities.
DICollective celebrates it’s inaugural DIS Appreciation Day this year on October 10th. With the launch of our new community, we’re soaking in the time-honored tradition of Homecoming.
Homecoming is the warmth of returning to a community where you are welcomed, seen, and most of all, belong.
